EVERYONE BE NICE TO HIM HE’S SHY 😠 I’m happy to announce that this little jackalope is my first available animal taxidermy! I did NOT make this, I want to be crystal clear. I have a✨vision✨ with this business of eventually sourcing work from other artists in mediums that I can’t do myself that are in the realm of “odd” and mixing it with my own. I do want to emphasize that I am highly selective and take my time looking for artists to collaborate with, so new oddities are going to be a slow going addition to the page. I’m so excited to share that @winchestermysteryhouse presented the opportunity to have one of my pieces exhibited in the historically infamous home of Sarah Winchester in San Jose, CA. This piece was so much fun to make, and I am incredibly grateful to have it displayed in such a beautiful location. We wanted to focus on native florals and insects that can be found in the area, with the idea that Sarah would have observed these various elements during her time. Some notable features include: the monarch butterfly, anise swallowtail butterfly, yellow dogface butterfly, gossamer-wing butterfly, ladybugs, dried yarrow, navel orange slices, juniper bush berries, cedar roses, and white oak acorns. #winchestermysteryhouse #winchestermysteryhousetour #odditiesandcuriosities

If I were a kid and you were like “that’s a dinosaur” I’d totally believe you. It looks so dinosaur. I will absolutely gaslight children into believing this is a dinosaur.
